Late Bloomers
"I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
 Fluttering and dancing in the breeze."
                                 -William Wordsworth
My daffodils are the last to bloom on the block, but boy, it was worth the wait!
Such a welcomed sign of Spring, as is the wonderful weather we've been having lately.
Someday I intend to turn this big new house into something resembling a wisteria covered cottage, with more flowers than grass in the yard. And, perhaps, someday I will have enough daffodils for a lovely bouquet like the ladies have above!
The crocuses are stunning this year too!
Ah, Spring!
