Johnny Mercer wrote and preformed many of the well known tunes from the 1930s-1950s. His unique voice and style are unmistakable, his talent undeniable. 

Unfortunately there isn't a wide variety of Mercer on youtube.

 I had the pleasure of visiting Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia, where Mercer and his family are interred. This bench marks the grave site of Johnny Mercer.
