Finds: Cherry Hat

On a shopping mission, for anything but hats, I ran across this fun lid. With velvet cherries, white feathers and a black velvet brim this hat was screaming "try me on" and after that, "buy me". So, of course, I can now add this darling cap to my ever growing collection. With winter coming and snow on the way, this hat will be fantastic!

I'm not very good at dating hats and while this one does have some sort of manufacturing number, I can't trace it. I'm figuring that this is perhaps 50s or 60s though it really doesn't matter as I never strive for period correctness!
